E-ARTH

I did not do anything for Earth day. i forgot about it.
One way I could help the Earth is by using cold water instead of hot water. Naah, i don't wanna do that. Cold water is too cold.
Another way is by unplugging plugs that are not being used.

Internet Safety

Internet safety is the proper use of the cyber web. It is also not being caution about what's going on. Mr. Ing told us a story from the news where a husband and wife were arrested because their neighbor was downloading pornography using their network. They were the ones arrested because they did not put protection for their wifi or router. Unprotected wifi can also lead to people hacking your network and invade your personal accounts.
Information that you shouldn't display or give to people or oranizations or any other group of people are social security numbers, bank or credit card numbers and phone numbers.

Week 6: Persuasive writting

SHOULD MOBILE PHONES BE ALLOWED IN CLASS?
I think mobile phonese should not be used in class. I think this because they are distracting. I've experienced using my phone in class and yes, it really is distracting. It keeps you from focusing and doing work. Even though you try to ignore your phone, you tend to still check it.

Week Quatro

Q: Why should regular users of the internet be using tags and categories whenever they leave a footprint on the web?
A: I think regular users of the internet should be using tags and categories whenever they leave a footprint on the web because it helps other people to find them.

Q: What is geotagging?

Why students and classes should visit mah bloog

Students and classes should visit my blog because it also contains what we do here in our Leadership class and not just what the challenge tells us to do. We blog about experience of new things we do and encounter, like when we had the 6th grade orientation for incoming 7th graders next year. Students and classes will also learn about GLO's if they don't have it at school.

6th Grade Orientation

On March 30 & 31, 6th graders from elementary schools in our complex came for an organized orientation that we Leadership students put together for them. We had to make speeches about our given topic. The purpose of the orientation was to make the future 7th graders feel comfortable & welcome in attending Ilima Intermediate. The 6th graders also got to go on a tour around the school and we showed them where building and important places are. We also provided entertainment which were the band performance, dance crew performance and the Leadership kids made a dance of our own. Kbai.

Presentation; About Me

In the 3rd quarter, us Leadership students were assigned to make a Power Point Presentation about ourselves. I had to use different pieces of technology to do school work. Most of those techs I used to make my Power Point aren't even used to do work on my classes. Like the camera. The purpose of the camera was to record my video that needed to be included in the presentation. Another piece of technology I used was the video editing software called Windows Movie Maker. That also isn't used in any of my classes. Including the computer used to put together the presentation. I would like to use those technology to complete work in all of my classes. That's because I think it's an easier way to complete and submit it.

Tagalog :D

Hahah, so we had to make a post using another language for our student blog challenge. Our class is pretty diverse. There are kids with different and/ or mixed nationalities. I am Filipino. Full filipino. I can speak Ilocano and Tagalog. Both are different dialects but the main dialect in the Philippines is tagalog. For, the blog challenge, I will be speaking in tagalog. Ok, here it goes;
Kbai!

Global Activities

One of the global activities I've joined is the World Math's Day competition. It was when I was in 4th/ 5th grade. I really liked it because we competed with other students all around the world who were on the same addition, subtraction, multiplication and division level as us. I'm really surprised at how many students participated. There were like, millions. Also, I got to compete with one kid from the Philippines. I think it was really cool. Like, really. Kbai.

AVATAAAAH!

Okeeeh, so theres' my AVATAAAH! It's the South Park version of me.. kinda. I have bangs and the avatar doesn't -__-" That's because there weren't much choices on the South Park Avatar Maker :P I am an independant person most of the time but i can adjust to "team work mode" when i need to. I love listening to music and working with technology, but sometimes only when I feel like. I can be a quiet person but that's because i like to think about things. And sometimes those things in my mind make me laugh out of nowhere. I can also switch to "loud mode" when i like >:) Yeeaah. Kbai!

tsunami and earthquake

Zomg! So there were these things called Earthquake and Tsunami in Japan. It happened March 10. When I got home from chuch, my mom them were watching tv and my little sister had that ':o' face. i was like, "uhmm ok." but then when I got to the room and this girl named Rei turned on the tv to channel, I forgot, I saw water everywhere. Water that took over a whole large area. Cars were just floating and waves just destroyed everything on its path. The cause of the tsunami was the 8.9 earthquake. So sad. Kbai!

Incorporating Technology

Just recently, our homeroom teacher thought of incorporating technology into our classroom. Ways we do that is by making a website on Google and blogging in Blogger I think that idea is great. It is practicing GLO #6, effective and ethical user of technology. None of my other classes in school have us do these kinds of work. And it's good that we're trying something new.Blogger and Google Site is also a way for us to submit our work in class. I think in that way, things would get done faster and more organized.
